Founded in 2011 by Dan and Al Harrington, an ex-NBA player who played for the Denver Nuggets, Viola Brands was born from a deeply personal place. Al’s grandma, Viola, was suffering from glaucoma and high blood pressure. She was resistant to trying cannabis at first, but once she did, the changes were immediate. That moment sparked everything. Named in her honor, Viola Brands grew from servicing people with cancer and HIV in Colorado into a recreational powerhouse spanning over 12 markets and Canada since 2020. Today, we proudly carry Viola Brands products within our Village Brands Dispensary stores.
