Understanding recreational cannabis allotment laws and regulations is a crucial part of consuming safely and legally. But, as cannabis is still not federally legalized, it can be hard to keep track of the vastly different rules and regulations state-to-state.
Most states put a limit on how much cannabis a consumer can purchase at a time, and details and stipulations vary. In Illinois, for example, the allotment limits are different for consumers that live in-state and those residing out-of-state. This guide serves only as a reference, and all information should be verified by individuals as laws routinely change. Be sure to research the possession limits and laws in whatever state you are currently shopping!
